Women’s Racer Back Singlet featuring twin needle neck, armholes and hems. Is an invaluable piece in a basics wardrobe. It can be dressed up or down depending on the fabric you use, it can show off a toned back or give the illusion of shaping via the curved armholes and back.
Suitable for stretch knits only. Ideally for 1 x 1 Rib knits, jersey, interlocks. An elastane/lycra/spandex content is highly recommended for a better fit. The finished garment measurements are measured without the aid of stretch so you can see you need a proper stretch fabric to ensure a good fit.
The instructions will take you through how to make the basic version and offer hints and tips along the way.
The Designer Manual will show you how to take them to the next level with ways to vary, alter and embellish to create your own style. Our hope is that you will see this as a way to stretch your creative skills and see this not as a single pattern for a single style, but rather as a starting point to bring your own personal style to the pieces you create.
Try using a stretch rib for a comfortable day to day piece, a performance stretch to turn it into a workout top or even some swim lycra to make into a swim singlet.
